12 months out
Set the budget. Draft the guest list. Book the venue, choose the date — and start the inspiration folder before opinions arrive.
9 months out
Photographer, caterer, music. Choose the wedding party. Order the dress or suit.
6 months out
Send save-the-dates. Book the florist. Plan the honeymoon and order the invitations.
3 months out
Mail the invitations. Final menu tasting, first fitting, order the cake — and write the vows while you still have the quiet.
1 month out
Final guest count. The seating chart — diplomacy, on paper. Confirm every vendor. Marriage license.
The week of
Pack for the honeymoon. Pick up attire. Delegate the day-of jobs. Rehearse. Breathe.
